We are extremely happy to welcome Gerry Slessenger to our schools team. Gerry now represents us from New Zealand and works together with Vic to develop our customer base in South East Asia.

Gerry has a catalogue of experience within the education supply sector, both UK and US supply. He has worked with us previously in Africa, when he was based in Cape Town, but we are super excited about his relocation to New Zealand. It will be great to have someone working in a completely different time zone and able to respond to our SEA requests while the rest of us are tucked up in bed. He is going to be attending conferences in the South East Asia area and doing some trips for school visits too. We know that there is demand for our services and Gerry’s addition to our team gives us even more confidence that we are able to cater for that demand.

A bit about Gerry: Many years ago, Gerry did an MBA in International Marketing at Kingston University in London and has remained interested in International business. He started two International companies, one operating out of Nairobi, Kenya supplying Missions and Aid agencies the length and breadth of Africa, the other an educational supply company helping schools overseas with all their procurement needs.

After selling these in 2006, he worked for an American Educational Company setting up their UK curriculum division.

Gerry has 3 children and 7 grandchildren. He is interested in Military History (is writing a book on WW1 in the genre of William Boyd), plays golf and loves gardening. Here he is with his son:
